Live soccer The second edition of the ATP Cup is still scheduled for January

The second edition of the ATP Cup is still scheduled for January next year, and Tennis Australia is considering adding more tournaments to allow players to prepare for the Australian Open. This was stated by the CEO of Tennis Australia Craig Tilly to Reuters.
The $ 15 million ATP Cup debuted on the calendar last year. The competition, which featured men`s teams from 24 countries, received many positive reviews, but along with every other sporting event in the world, the COVID-19 pandemic has asked whether it will take place in Perth, Brisbane and Sydney in 2021.
`We talk a lot with ATP every week. We both want to organize it. It was a great first edition of the ATP Cup, very successful. We plan to hold it in three cities and work with those cities, ` Tilly said. `We have a lot of logistical work to do to make it all work. We need to make sure the players are safe, ` he added.
Tilly, who is also the director of the Australian Open, said that the organ izers are confident that they will host the Grand Slam tournament in January with full prize money and fans in the stands. Part of that plan is to set up five biosecurity bubbles in Australian cities from early December, and the TA is looking to give players who arrive earlier more opportunities to play tournaments to prepare forThe Grand Slam. `We will probably add some tournaments predicted by sport news before the start of the Australian Open, ` added Tilly.
