Livescore McDavid finished 1st in the Hart contenders. Pastrnak, McKinnon, Erik Karlsson and Robertson in top 5 (NHL)

Connor McDavid is the top contender for the Hart Trophy in a quarter of the season.

The official website of the NHL held a preliminary vote on the results prediction by record of football tips of a quarter of the season. It was attended by 14 authors of the resource, each named five candidates. Votes were counted according to the 5-4-3-2-1 system.

The Heart Trophy is awarded to the most valuable player for his team in the regular season.

The first place in the voting was taken by the leader of the scorer race - Connor McDavid from Edmonton (36 points in 21 matches, 16 + 20). The two-time winner of the prize (2017, 2021) scored 67 points with 12 first places.

The second was Boston forward David Pastrnak (35 points, 1st place).

The top 5 also included Colorado forward Nathan McKinnon (22 points), Dallas forward Jason Robertson (22), San Jose guard Erik Karlsson (18, 1st place).

In addition to them, Edmonton forward Leon Draisaitl (13), Winnipeg goaltender Connor Hellibuck (10), Vegas forward Jack Eichel (7), Colorado forward Mikko Rantanen (5), New Jersey forward Niko Hishir (5), Tampa forward Nikita were mentioned. Kucherov (3), New Jersey forward Jesper Bratt (3).
