Petra Kvitova triumphed in Prague

Ceska Petra Kvitova won the Red Court Tennis Championship in Prague with a prize pool of 250, 000 dollars. In the final, the 2-time Wimbledon champion defeated Romanian 4:6, 6:2, 6:3 Romanian Mihaela Buzarnescu.

Kvitova has begun a strong game and led with a 4-1 game, but allowed the 30-year-old Buzarnescu to win 5 consecutive games by tennis predictions to win the first set. This release, however, was incidental in Kvitova`s game and the local favorite was almost perfect in the next two sets to congratulate the final success after 2 hours and 19 minutes.

The title is third for Kvitova in Prague, and it is also third for her this year after the successes in St. Petersburg and Doha.
