The finals of the Copa Del Rey between Barcelona and Athletic Bilbao will be played at "Camp Nou" in the Catalan capital. This decided the Spanish Federation. Both clubs according livescore were willing the battle to be felt on "Santiago Bernabeu", but the leadership of Real Madrid refused to provide its stadiums.
Tonight, representatives of Barcelona and Athletic met each other to reach a joint decision. After over two hours they did not reach an agreement, from the federation took the matters into their own hands and with a voice 26:18 it was decided the host of the final confrontation to be the stadium of Barcelona.
Barcelona was agreed with the final to be on "San Mames" but on condition that they will obtain 50% of the tickets. From Bilbao refused. "Benito Villamarin" in Seville also dropped as an option, because on the 30-th of May, when the final is scheduled, there will be a medical congress in the city and the hotels will be fully booked. Was rejected also the ability the match to be at the stadium in Valencia - "Mestalla".
This led to the idea to choose between the both stadiums of the finalists - "Camp Nou" and "San Mames"."Camp Nou received more votes, so it will take the big match on the 30th of May.
