Wenger: 'Olivier has the qualities of a captain!`

Arsene Wenger did not fail to praise again Olivier Giroud, who brought Arsenal`s victory over Preston with 2:1 with a late goal and sent the team ahead of the FA Cup.
The Frenchman was wearing the captaincy and scored his fourth goal in the last 4 games predicted by livescore in order to save the Londoners, who had played a very bad first half, after which they were lagging behind in the score.
'Lately, he really scores a lot and that may only please us. He is in a good shape and does not stop scoring. What is more, he owns the qualities to be a captain.`, said the Frenchman.
'I like to enable different people to wear the captaincy. Olivier overcame a difficult period in which he played a little bit but stayed focused and continued to work.`, Wenger reported. He naturally criticized his team for their performance in the first half.
'Yes, during the break was very angry. We are one of the best teams in the Premier League and the rival dominated. We were not up to par, and Preston had a lot of situations and we often were in serious difficulties. The hosts played very intelligently and that definitely impressed me.`, said Wenger.
